About

Nancy has been doing hair for 30 years and cannot imagine doing anything else. She first got into the industry to do edgy/punk/counter culture styles but loves many different types of hair. Her icons include Joan Jett, Siouxsie Sioux and anyone who is fearless with their personal style.

She has worked in all aspects of the hair industry, owning her first salon, Colorbox, in 2002. Through lots of hard work and determination, she created her "Punk Rock Treehouse Salon" in SF's Mission District just over 4 years ago. She is thrilled to have her own rock and roll garden studio and loves that her commute is just down the hallway!

She's worked with many hair product/color lines and currently uses WELLA, Matrix, Framesi, Joico and Pravana.

​

 

In her free time she enjoys gardening, hiking and going to see live music. For the future she plans to continue building her clientele, stay well-versed in sanitation protocols for client safety, invest in continuing education and work with the American Cancer Society teaching classes on wig cutting/styling and makeup application for women with cancer.
